Konica Minolta's AccurioLabel 400 receives two awards

With these two new awards, Konica Minolta's AccurioLabel 400, unveiled last year, has won three prestigious prizes.

Not one but two international awards for Konica Minolta's flagship label press. The manufacturer has won the coveted iF Design Award 2023 and Red Dot Award Product Design 2023 for its top-of-the-range AccurioLabel 400 machine.

The juries for both competitions particularly appreciated the design of the toner printing machine, which requires no special skills to operate. They also emphasized the machine's availability and the absence of any need for special licenses or automatic color correction technology.

First unveiled in May 2022, konica Minolta's AccurioLabel 400 is designed for medium- to high-volume label printing. Available in CMYK and CMYK plus white, this toner press handles 250 and 330 mm web widths, and its print speed can reach 39.9 meters per minute.

"The awards we've received confirm our belief that the press brings another level of opportunity for forward-thinking label converters by opening up more printing possibilities, says Sacha-Vittorio Paolucci, Industrial Printing Business Development Manager at Konica Minolta Europe. What's more, these awards demonstrate that the AccurioLabel 400 is an attractive solution for existing and new customers who are already developing their label production and packaging expertise.

These two awards confirm that the press, thanks in particular to its workflow and automation, enables label converters to boost their productivity and "to get closer to operating an intelligent factory".

These awards follow the Good Design Award 2022 presented by the Japan Institute for Design Promotion at the end of October.
