The Ricoh Pro C7500 toner press, for new applications

The Ricoh Pro C7500 toner press offers a wider gamut, metallic colors and a wider choice of substrates than its predecessor.

Ricoh expands its range of presses featuring its next-generation technology. After the Ricoh Pro C9500, a high-volume sheet-fed color toner press, the manufacturer unveils the Ricoh Pro C7500, which will go on sale in Europe in November.
According to its manufacturer, this technology offers "exceptional color brilliance" thanks to its extended gamut, and opens up new fields of application thanks to its compatibility with highly textured substrates.

The Ricoh Pro C7500, which replaces the Ricoh Pro C7200x, handles even very irregular weights from 40 to 470 g/m 2 (compared to 360 g/m 2 maximum with the previous range). It also supports double-sided formats up to 1030 mm (previously 700 mm). These new capabilities broaden the range of applications for users, who will be able to offer lightweight packaging, greeting cards and announcements, stresses Ricoh.

This new CMYK digital press can be equipped with additional toner to add white, varnish, invisible red, neon yellow, neon pink, as well as gold or silver.

New fluorescent color profiles have been integrated into the press, generating a brighter color palette by automatically adding fluorescent pink or yellow.

The Ricoh Pro C7500 is also equipped with the new GC OS (Graphic Communications Operating System) controller. This controller "ensures simple, intuitive setting of all machine parameters" and enables remote access to the press, via a web browser, from a PC or tablet.

New features also include the Digital Front End (DFE), developed in collaboration with Fiery, which Ricoh claims delivers high operational efficiency and simplified maintenance.
