A program dedicated to sustainability in printing
Kodak has just unveiled its new Green Leaf program, specially designed for users of Kodak Sonora Process Free plates. The program is part of the company's wider drive to reduce the environmental impact of the printing industry. Sonora plates, already recognized for eliminating the need for processing equipment and chemicals, as well as water and energy consumption, are at the heart of this initiative.
Marketing support for printers
The Green Leaf program offers printers using Sonora plates a range of updated marketing tools, including a new Green Leaf manual, visual aids, animations and a Green Leaf certificate. These resources are designed to help printers effectively communicate the environmental benefits of their practices to customers and prospects. Users can access these tools by registering on a dedicated web portal.
A commercial and environmental impact
The initiative is not limited to improving printers' environmental image. As Laura Cole, VP Product Management at Kodak, explains, the Green Leaf program enables printers to demonstrate their commitment to sustainability, which can also strengthen their commercial positioning and help them conquer new markets.
Progressive international deployment
The Green Leaf program was first launched in the United States and Canada, with a planned roll-out in Asia-Pacific from the last week of August 2024, followed by Europe, Africa and the Middle East from the end of September 2024. This progression enables Kodak to ensure that all SONORA plate users worldwide will be able to benefit from this marketing support.
