Epson launches SureColor F9500 and SC-F9500H dye-sublimation printers for textiles

Epson presents the SureColor F9500 and SC-F9500H printers, successors to the F9400 models, with significant improvements in productivity, image quality and ease of use. These new models are aimed at professionals in the textile and flexible signage sectors.

Epson enriches its offer with the launch of the SureColor F9500 and SC-F9500H, two new dye-sublimation printers, replacing the F9400 and SC-F9400H models. These new machines promise significant advances in areas such as productivity, ink management and print quality, responding to the needs of professionals in the graphics sector.

Compact design and improved ergonomics

The SureColor F9500 series boasts a rethought design, with its height reduced by over 30 cm compared to previous models. This optimization saves space, facilitating installation in environments with height constraints. The flat top surface of these machines is also practical for placing additional equipment, such as a laptop.

Users can also benefit from a simplified interface thanks to a 4.3-inch, tilting touchscreen that displays ink levels and print parameters in real time.

Increased productivity

One of the major advantages of the new SureColor F9500s is their enhanced productivity. The higher-performance PrecisionCore MicroTFP printhead boosts productivity by up to 30% in 4-color mode. What's more, the "Media Lifter" simplifies roll placement, as it can be handled by a single operator, greatly facilitating media management.

Expanded color space

The SureColor F9500H model stands out for its ability to be configured with orange and violet inks. This extends the color space by 20%, offering more vivid colors and more subtle nuances. What's more, the fluorescent inks offered on this model are suitable for dynamic printing, particularly on sportswear and fashion items.

Clear inks, on the other hand, reduce the graininess of prints and improve gradation, an asset for rigid substrates.

Reliability and maintenance

The SC-F9500 range incorporates several technologies designed to enhance printer reliability. The Nozzle Verification System (NVT) and Print Area Overlap (POL) functionality automatically monitor and adjust print quality according to nozzle condition, ensuring consistent performance.

Printheads can be replaced by the user without the need for special tools or technical service, reducing downtime. Finally, the 1.6-liter ink packs, which are larger than those of previous models, minimize the frequency of ink replacements.

Availability

The new Epson SureColor F9500 and SC-F9500H printers will be available from October 2024, offering optimized solutions for productivity and print quality.
