Konica Minolta took advantage of two major North American graphics industry events to unveil its latest technologies. From the C14010s, an enhanced press with automated color management, to a new label embellishment press with single-pass gilding, the new products were all there.
Konica Minolta has unveiled its C14010s model, an enhanced version of the C14000 press, with new features such as white toner. This machine, now equipped with the IQ-601 color management system, facilitates the automation of job settings and aims to offer greater flexibility to print service providers.
The addition of a white toner station not only enables us to meet specific demands in commercial printing, but also to position ourselves in new markets, notably that of high value-added applications such as packaging or promotional materials.
The new MGI JetVarnish 3D Web 400 press is presented as a world premiere.
In parallel with the Las Vegas event, Konica Minolta took advantage of Labelexpo in Chicago to launch its new label embellishing press. This is a machine capable of applying gilding and varnish in a single pass, an innovation that should speed up production processes while improving the quality of finished products.
The MGI JetVarnish 3D Web 400 is a fully reel-fed model with integrated inline die-cutting, making it highly modular for a variety of applications with variable or fixed data. The machine should appeal to printers specializing in premium labels and niche markets.
