No more problems with PDF clients
The Colorbox does not only perform a simple compliance of the file with Fogra 51 or 52 standards . Initially designed by Binuscan to obtain the right colors whatever the printing support, the Colorbox also treats the PDF pages before the passage in RIP by allowing to realize a significant ink savings between 25 and 35% according to printers' feedback.
It also generates a quality of print and uniform tones in continuous printing over the course of a day.
According to Jean-Marie Binucci, inventor of the solution and CEO of Binuscan, this system breaks down the image differently depending on the medium or the printing mode for a result identical to the original. Thus, the colors offer the same rendering on coated paper as on offset paper .

eurosEt many advantages
The separation of colors, operated by the power of the artificial intelligence of the Colorbox this method acts on a strong withdrawal of the under-colors so as to privilege the black ink. This method would thus trigger beneficial consequences on the times and the costs of production, as well as on the quality of the job to be printed:
- sharper and more contrasting colors;
- better ink management;
- a reduction of paper waste and no more drying problems;
- no more excess magenta after lamination;
- a ink stability during the draw ;
- a reduction of half of the powdering ;
- no more smearing or soiling during processing;
- a consistent aesthetic appearance even when printing on different presses;
- the suppression of metamerism.

An image correction system invented by a printer
Former printer and dissatisfied with the colorimetric rendering of digital printing when it first arrived on the market, Jean-Marie Binucci developed the Colorbox at the end of his 2 years of research . First using it for his own account, he then decided to share it with his colleagues and success began: Kodak, Umax, Polaroid and Sinar wanted to integrate the new technology into their products, many international media organizations printers are seduced and competing copies follow, without ever managing to match the system.
