Mutoh expands its XpertJet Pro line launched last January with the addition of the XpertJet 1682SR Pro. The XpertJet 1682SR Pro is a high-productivity 162 cm wide printer for long-term outdoor and indoor display and visual communication applications.
This new XPJ-1682SR Pro is equipped with two AccuFine HD print heads, each with 3200 nozzles. Combined with new interlacing algorithms and Mutoh's VerteLith RIP, this press achieves higher print speed and quality than the brand's other ranges in all production modes, says the Japanese manufacturer. It is announced a high quality production speed up to 35 m 2 /h.
The printer runs on a brand new generation of fast-drying CMYK ink, Mutoh's MS51 ink set. The new MS51 inks, which have a UV resistance of up to 3 years without lamination, no longer carry any safety warning pictograms and are also free of the volatile organic compound gamma-butyrolactone (gBL).
Mutoh MS51 inks are also GREENGUARD Gold certified for the wallpaper category. They are therefore compatible with use in sensitive environments such as hospitals and schools.
Mutoh's XpertJet range also includes the 137 cm wide XPJ-1341SR Pro and the 162 cm wide XPJ-1641SR Pro.
