The Geneva-based market research institute Infosource collects annual statistics on large format printer sales in Europe. The statistics for 2022 have just been published and place SwissQprint's Nyala model at the top of the podium in its category for the eighth year in a row.
Indeed, since 2015, Nyala has been the number one selling product in Europe in the UV flatbed and hybrid printers over 152.4 cm wide category in the price range of 130,000 to 500,000 Euros.
This model is now in its fourth generation. The Nyala hybrid led UV flatbed is equipped with a 3.2 x 2 meter table top, has 9 color channels and a roll-to-roll option (for soft media), can be equipped with a double roller, a loading and unloading robot and a print table extension.
Version four of the Nyala is equipped with new print heads offering a maximum resolution of 1,350 dpi. Its printing speed is 206 m 2 /hour and can reach 370 m 2 /hour for the Nyala 4 S.
When it was launched in 2012, Nyala was SwissQprint's third flatbed printer. Today, the Swiss manufacturer has five models: the Impala, Oryx, Nyala, Kudu and Karibu.
