AccurioShine 3600, Konica Minolta's digital finishing system

The compact AccurioShine 3600 digital solution, based on MGI's machine, adds textures and effects to prints up to B3+ format.

Konica Minolta launches the AccurioShine 3600, a new UV inkjet coater. Built on the basis of MGI's JETvarnish 3D One, this new finishing machine joins Konica's offering under its own brand.

Konica Minolta and MGI have worked together on this new machine to improve its performance "a technology that has already been tried and tested, and brings new developments in terms of stability, reliability and ease of maintenance" says the Japanese manufacturer.

It adds value from prototyping through to full production of invitations, greeting cards, photo book covers, tickets and packaging. And with its support for variable data (VDP), it makes it possible to offer personalized tickets, labels, invitations and other printed products.

Finishing files (in TIFF format) are linked directly to the substrate by a barcode. Scanning the barcode on the pre-printed sheet instantly selects the corresponding TIFF file stored in the workstation.
