Mimaki launches a new high-end UV led printer with integrated die-cutting, the UCJV330-160. With a print width of 1610 mm, this CMYK, C clear, M clear, white and transparent roll-fed inkjet machine features a print function for up to five layers.

This tool for printing up to five layers opens up new application possibilities.
In two-layer printing (white plus color), this technique enables printing on transparent and colored substrates.
By inserting a layer of white ink between two colored layers of the same motif, color printing appears as bright in daylight as it does with backlighting.
Four-layer printing will produce panels with different prints during the day and at night.
And with five-coat printing, it's possible to produce windows with different patterns on the outside and inside.

What's more, transparent ink allows you to apply a glossy or matte finish and create watermarks that are revealed when a light is placed behind the print. It's also possible to create textured effects, such as the leather effect.
As a printer with integrated die-cutting, the UCJV330-160 automatically contours adhesives, signs and labels.
The printer prints on traditional media for graphic outdoor signage applications, but also on translucent, transparent and colored sheets.
Users can also print on polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polyurethane (PU) and other resin films, as well as fabric and paper (including uncoated paper).
