Drupa 2024: HP unveils the Indigo 120K high-productivity digital press

At Drupa 2024, HP will unveil its latest advance, the HP Indigo 120K, the highly productive B2 format digital press.

After an absence of eight years, Drupa will take place at Messe Düsseldorf at the end of May and beginning of June this year. Judging by the various announcements from manufacturers around the world, this graphic arts event is likely to bring together a large number of new machines. And HP is not to be outdone. The American manufacturer has already announced that it will be presenting its first.., hP Indigo 18K printer . It will also unveil the HP Indigo 120K digital press

This new B2-format press "sets a new standard for large-scale production and automation, while enabling printers to move to digital more easily and cost-effectively", declares HP. Particularly automated, the HP Indigo 120K press reduces the number of manipulations and allows a single operator to use several presses.

The Indigo 120K reaches speeds of 4,500 sheets per hour in full color, and 6,000 sheets per hour in enhanced EPM mode (three-color printing âeuros cyan, magenta and yellow).

Thanks to five paper feed sources (three of which are optional) and constant colorimetric measurement, the digital press can print non-stop, producing over 2 million B2 sheets per month with up to 90% availability.

HP's Indigo 120K digital press features an ECO mode option that reduces the carbon footprint of production by 11% thanks to a thinner ink layer.

A fifth ink station can be added, and the HP Indigo 120K HD model offers even more advanced image resolution.
