In collaboration with digital press manufacturer Canon, automation software vendor OneVision will be presenting a comprehensive workflow solution for single-unit print products in Hall 8A at Drupa 2024, held in Düsseldorf, Germany, from May 28 to June 7.
Both exhibitors intend to demonstrate how the production of commercial, book, wide-format, packaging and label printing can be optimized when sheetfed and web-fed digital printing systems are fed with perfectly prepared print files and integrated into a fully connected ecosystem.
"In today's world, characterized by enormous pressure on margins and a shortage of skilled labor, it's very important for companies to invest in holistic solutions. The partnership between Canon and OneVision meets exactly this objective." says Stephan Reiter, OneVision's Sales Director for Indirect Channels EMEA.
At the Canon stand, Drupa visitors will be able to see demonstrations of automated production lines for a variety of small- and large-format printing applications, including printing, finishing and production control, as well as order acceptance for online stores, personalized packaging design and automated file preparation.
Visitors will be able to see how OneVision's automation software tracks production progress by creating and managing barcodes, and how it optimizes the surface area of substrates by automatically managing impositions, nestings and groupings.
