The Oberon RTR3300 and the Jeti Tauro H3300 win first prize in their categories.

Agfa wins two Product of the Year awards at the Printing United Alliance competition. Printing United Alliance awarded these first prizes to the Oberon RTR3300 in the RTR UV category (over 80 inches) and the Jeti Tauro H3300 led in the UV Hybrid - High Volume Flatbed category.

Formed in May 2020 from the merger of SGIA and Printing Industries of America, the largest graphic arts association in the United States rewards the best solution of its manufacturer members available for sale in 2020. More than 200 entries were submitted in 85 categories.

"This recognition highlights the superior performance, reliability and efficiency of Agfa's products to make our customers more profitable said Deborah Hutcheson, Agfa's Marketing Director North America.

In a four-colour plus white or six-colour version, the Oberon RTR3300 is a 3.3 m roll-to-roll (RTR) printer launched at the beginning of the year. This large-format machine reaches a printing speed of 150 m 2 /h. The double roll option doubles productivity by printing two rolls of up to 1.6 metres wide each.
The Obeon UV led inks have been specifically formulated for flexible substrates. They have obtained Greenguard Gold certification, which guarantees their innocuousness in sensitive indoor environments such as schools and healthcare facilities.

The UV led hybrid printer Jeti Tauro H3300 with a width of 3.3 m is intended for the production of a wide variety of rigid and flexible substrates, such as paper, corrugated cardboard, glass, wood or corrugated polypropylene. This inkjet machine reaches a width of 453 m 2 /h and can print at resolutions up to 1200 dpi.
Available in four and six colours (plus white or primer), the Jeti Tauro led range is available in six levels of automation. And as with Oberon, Jeti Tauro UV inks have been awarded Greenguard Gold certification.

The Belgian manufacturer has won a total of 14 Product of the Year awards since its first participation in 2014 in the competition created by SGIA.
