Drupa 2024: update on exhibitor bookings

Despite a very positive assessment by the organizers of Drupa 2024, several major exhibitors are missing.

A year and a half before the start of the largest graphic arts fair, 100,000 m 2 of exhibition space has already been reserved by 900 exhibitors from 45 countries. But even if the organizers of Drupa 2024 are pleased, these square meters are still far from the 153,000 m 2 booked at the same time for the 2020 edition, which unfortunately had to be cancelled.

Among the "impressive list" of the exhibitors already signed up for the event, which will be held May 28-June 7, 2024, in Düsseldorf, Germany, organizers cite key offset players such as Koenig & Bauer, Heidelberg and Komori. Bobst, Konica Minolta, Fujifilm, Landa, Comexi, Duplo, EFI, Epson, Esko, Horizon, Kolbus, Kurz, Windmöller & Hölscher, Screen or even Müller Martini will also present their new products in Germany in Düsseldorf from May 28 to June 7, 2024. But the absence of Man Roland, Agfa, Canon and HP, a manufacturer that had reserved for Drupa 2020 the entirety of hall 17, or nearly 8â¨s300 m 2 this is not something that goes unnoticed.

In her statement, Sabine Geldermann, Director of Drupa Portfolio Printing Technologies Messe Düsseldor, remains enthusiastic and assures: "The current level of bookings and the positive feedback from exhibitors make us very confident and optimistic - despite the geopolitical and economic challenges: Drupa 2024 will once again be the most important industry meeting place in the world."

She adds: "With an international exhibitor participation of around 75%, Drupa is in an outstanding position by global standards. The range, variety and staging of innovations are unique and will once again provide a glimpse into the future of this industry. And this under ideal conditions for exhibitors and visitors to make contacts and conduct future-oriented projects."

Let's hope that the exhibitors who are missing are just waiting and finally commit budgets to participate in this great event.
