The Swiss manufacturer of large format printers SwissQprint had the power consumption of its digital UV printing machines tested.
According to the ISO 20690:2028 standard, which specifies the methods for determining the energy consumption of digital printers, the international institute Fogra measured the energy consumption of the Kudu, Nyala 4 and Nyala 4S flatbed printers and the Karibu 2 and Karibu S roll-to-roll printers in different printing modes.
"Tests have shown that the energy efficiency of each SwissQprint machine is the best in its class. This means that their energy requirements are very low compared to their performance, saving costs and resources." says SwissQprint with satisfaction.
According to Fogra, the Swiss brand's large-format printers consume an average of 2.2 kilowatt hours, which is equivalent to the consumption of a standard electric kettle.
"For users, it is more important than ever to control their electricity consumption and especially to use this energy efficiently. This is the guarantee offered by SwissQprint large format printers" assures the Swiss manufacturer.
Already between 2018 and 2019, Fogra has awarded the Nyala and Karibu models for their "exceptional energy efficiency".
