Acuity Prime Hybrid, Fujifilm's versatile large-format printer, comes to market

Previewed at Fespa, Fujifilm's Acuity Prime Hybrid is now on sale.

It's here! The Acuity Prime Hybrid is now available on the European market. Fujifilm unveiled this large-format machine at the Fespa 2023 trade show held in Munich, Germany, at the end of May and beginning of June.
Fujifilm's Acuity Prime Hybrid is a UV led digital printer designed to combine output speed, print quality and cost-effectiveness.

The machine can be equipped with up to seven channels (CMYK plus white plus transparent plus primer) and, according to its manufacturer, will meet the needs of printers using a wide range of flexible and rigid substrates, from Dibond and foam board to acrylic and polyester.

In flatbed mode, the Acuity Prime Hybrid handles media up to 2050 mm wide and 51 mm thick, and can print four rigid substrates simultaneously. Positioning tabs enable precise edge-to-edge printing.
In production quality mode, the Acuity Prime Hybrid reaches a speed of 92 m 2 per hour. Handling tables can be positioned at the front and rear of the machine to reduce the amount of handling required.

In reel configuration, the Acuity Prime Hybrid can be loaded with one reel weighing up to 100 kg, or two reels up to 0.9 m wide each. With its Greenguard Gold-certified ink, it can produce wallpapers and other interior decorating applications. It reaches roll-to-roll speeds of 141m 2 /h.

Fujifilm points out that it takes less than 10 minutes to switch from rigid to roll media. And three levels of grayscale are available, depending on the print modes selected.
