ImagePrograf Pro and GP, Canon's new 7- and 12-color printer ranges

The imagePrograf Pro 12-color and imagePrograf GP 7-color printers use scratch- and light-resistant pigment inks.

Canon launches two new ranges of large-format printers, the imagePrograf Pro 12-color, for photography and fine art professionals, and the imagePrograf GP 7-color, for high-end poster and communication professionals.

These imagePrograf printers are equipped with the new Lucia Pro II pigment inks, which offer "excellent color reproduction" while responding to the market demand for a "greater print durability and scratch resistance" says Canon.

These inks also offer greater resistance to light, enabling works to be preserved for up to 200 years, according to tests carried out on Canon Pro Platinum photo paper.

The 12-color imagePrograf Pro for photography and fine arts

the imagePrograf Pro-4600 in 1118 mm and the imagePrograf Pro-2600 in 610 mm.

Lucia Pro II matte black ink, combined with the new color matching table, improves reproduction of darker shades and black density on fine art papers.
