"Success for Konica Minolta's TU-510 cutting module

In four years, Konica Minolta's TU-510 in-line cutting unit has exceeded 220 sales.

"Commercial success" for tU-510 in-line cutting module konica Minolta is delighted. Since its launch at the end of 2020, over 220 units have been sold worldwide.

"The world's only in-line die-cutting unit in the printing industry" according to its manufacturer, this finishing equipment performs slitting and trimming in various formats and, with options, can also perform creasing.
Combined with Konica Minolta's AccurioPress printing systems, this automated in-line cutting module can, for example, slit and trim up to 231 business cards per minute.

Anna Filacorda, CEO of Italian printing company Grafiche Filacorda, explains: "As well as getting a finished product without the need to start up additional machinery, we can automate uneconomical manual processes."

For Martin Becker, Managing Director of Wub in Germany, the module performs the following tasks "a fantastic job", especially when producing complex content, such as a letter accompanied by a bank transfer form. With this module, the paper is already cut and perforated on the back.

Karl-Friedrich Edenhuizen, product manager for color presses at Konica Minolta Europe, adds: "The versatility and ease of integration of Konica Minolta's TU-510 inline cutting unit increases finishing capabilities in print production. Its operation minimizes waste and maximizes production times to ensure smooth, cost-effective operations for commercial printers and copy centers."
