New cancellations for Drupa 2021

Two new manufacturers are withdrawing from the list of exhibitors.

The list of exhibitors who miss out on the biggest graphic arts event in the world keeps growing. After Xerox, Bobst, Komori, Screen Manroland, Heidelberg The US manufacturer of digital presses, CTP and printing plates, Kodak, and its Japanese counterpart, Fujifilm, are withdrawing from Drupa 2021.

Kodak and Fujifilm declare that they are cancelling their attendance in order to ensure the health and safety of all visitors and employees. Jim Continenza, Executive Chairman of Eastman Kodak Company, adds : "The continuing concerns and impacts of the pandemic do not allow us to commit resources to such an event in these uncertain times".

And Fujifilm announces that it will also not be present at another show in Düsseldorf, Germany, whose 2020 edition had been cancelled, the interpack 2021 to be held from February 25 to March 3.

On March 13, Drupa organizer Messe Düsseldorf announced that the cancellation of the 2020 edition . The quadrennial show should have been held over 10 days in June. It was finally postponed and shortened. The Drupa 2021 is scheduled to take place over eight days, from Tuesday 20 to Wednesday 28 April 2021, again in Düsseldorf, Germany.
