Finishing, routing, screen printing: how are these markets evolving?

If we compare the turnover of the finishing sector with that of other European countries, France is in third place behind Germany and Italy.

Evolution of the Bindery-Brochure-Gilding Division

The Bookbinding-Brochure-Dorure branch has 85 establishments, reports the Idep. The number of employees increased by 3.1% between 2017 and 2018, whereas in the previous year it had decreased by 19%. Companies with less than 50 employees still represent the vast majority of the sector (nearly 95%).

The industry will have 239 establishments in 2018, 11 fewer than the previous year, according to the Report (250 establishments in 2017 and 257 establishments in 2016). As for the number of employees, it is 5000, 88 less than in 2017.

As in the Bindery-Brochure-Dorure branch, the vast majority of Routing establishments have fewer than 50 employees (92%).
