Live from Belgium, Agfa unveiled its new flagship machine on Tuesday: the Jeti Tauro H3300 UHS led inkjet printer. With a speed of up to 600 m 2 /h, this UHS (UHS for ultra-high speed) machine is the fastest press in the Jeti Tauro range.
This large-format press prints on flexible and rigid substrates up to 3.3 m wide in four or six colours plus white and primer. It is designed for the premium segment of signage and displays, but also for the corrugated packaging segment.
Reinhilde Alaert, Agfa's product manager for Sign & Display, explained: "The first thing we've been working on this machine is its speed. It's 30% faster than the previous versions (453 m 2 /h for the other two models in the Jeti tauro lineup.")
In addition to its high print speed, the new Tauro offers minimum maintenance and job changeover times and a very high availability rate.

In addition to the robustness of these machines, Agfa also emphasized the versatility of the Jeti Tauro. "We wanted to come up with a machine that would allow printers to open up to adjacent markets, such as color packaging."
It details: "We have found that signage and display customers often get additional jobs from the packaging industry. These jobs are mainly for marketing campaigns, where the promotion of a product or service includes not only displays or banners, but also packaging. The Tauro is perfect for both types of jobs, thanks to its image quality, bright colours and high productivity on a wide variety of media"
The Tauro H3300 UHS led also handles the printing of two rolls simultaneously with different print files. A QR code and a camera allow precise double-sided printing on opaque media.
The large-format printer can be equipped with advanced automation systems, from media loading to unloading.
Inks, the other asset of the Jeti Tauro H3300 UHS
The Jeti Tauro H3300 UHS led uses Agfa's Greenguard Gold certified Anuvia UV LED inks. This certification indicates that they meet the most stringent chemical emission standards. These inks are therefore compatible with so-called sensitive environments such as schools and hospitals.
Moreover, its ink consumption is the lowest in the market thanks to Agfa's patented Thin Ink Layer technology, which is based on the pigment colors of the inks, Asanti workflow algorithms and adapted printer components.

The Jeti Tauro H3300 range, launched in 2018, now includes :
- the original Jeti Tauro H3300 led model, available in 4 and 6 colours
- the entry-level model, released in the fall of 2020, the Jeti Tauro H3300 S, which can be upgraded to the speed of the original model
- and this high-end model, the Jeti Tauro H3300 UHS led.
