Confidential / The Government of Quebec confirms its confidence in the PrintFlux Web-to-Print solution

In 2006, the Government of Quebec chose PrintFlux to manage its market place. 15 years later, the administration has just renewed its contract by adopting the latest version of PrintFlux.

In 2004, the Government of Quebec decided to move towards ordering over the Internet. Two years later, after an international call for tenders and a drastic audit carried out by an independent firm, Market Place PrintFlux's French solution was chosen to manage order taking for 25,000 internal customers and some twenty production centres.

In 2019, the administration decided to continue this collaboration by renewing its contract, taking advantage of the operation to modernize its installation with the latest version of the PrintFlux market place modules.

"We are very proud to contribute to the success of the Quebec government printing service. This is a project that is strategic for the government department because of its scope and its requirements. With PrintFlux, we are providing an efficient solution to manage the scope of orders and provide secure operations" welcomes Yann Venance technical manager of PrintFlux.

Manage all print service orders

PrintFlux manages all orders for the Quebec Government printing department: reprographic, digital, offset, large format (POS) or logotype objects. More than 25?000 customers can access the platform, where close to 15?000 orders are placed each month from a catalogue of more than 500 references.

Orders are automatically processed by one of the 20 service providers. The latter is chosen according to the technical constraints of the product, the delivery time and the geographical area - the size of Quebec obliges. The printer has PrintFlux.Pro, a complete order processing software, which saves time and ensures efficiency.

A new, more efficient version

This renewal also allows the Government of Quebec to have the latest version of PrintFlux. The collaborative platform has been improved to bring even more flexibility, efficiency and speed.

All employees at the Quebec City and Montreal sites have benefited from a training plan to be quickly operational with customers.

As with the previous version, a major security audit was carried out, notably by the government's IT department. This audit concerned not only the technical platform and hosting, but also the uses of the application: order processing, user solutions, securing the operator flow, etc

Definite gains

If the Government of Quebec confirms its confidence in PrintFlux, it is also thanks to the gains brought by the Web-to-Print solution. With the automation of orders, employees gain in autonomy and lead time. With online follow-up, they gain in reliability and efficiency.
